It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Davis A. Sloan (Calypso, North Carolina), who passed away on February 27, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Needham Alphin and Dorothy Davis Sloan; his wife Thelma Jones Sloan; his granddaughter Cornelia Elisabeth Sloan; and his brother Glenn Needham Sloan.
He is survived by: his son Ronnie Sloan (Andrea); his grandson Gray Sloan (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Sadie, Stella and Catherine Sloan; his sister Mary Sloan Rogers (Bill); his siblings-in-law, Joyce Sloan, Roy Lee Taylor and Buddy Flowers; his aunt Johnnie Davis; and his friends, Rachel Kennedy, Davis and Thelma. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many cherished friends.
