He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herbert Tyndall and Dorothy Smith Tyndall; his brother Lamont Tyndall; his son Joel Cox; and his granddaughter Cora Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Tyndall; his children, David Tyndall Jr. (Elizabeth) of Clayton and Cora Gore of Calypso; his grandchildren, Vance Carter, Bailey Foster, Bryce Foster, Blair Cox, Andrew Kyle and Deisy; his great grandchildren, Ariyanna and Damian Kyle; and his brother Jim Tyndall.
