He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Lee Johnson and Lemuel Evert Johnson; his mother-in-law Agnes C. Lifka; his brother-in-law Carl "Sonny" Hoffman, Jr.; and his former wife Heidi.
He is survived by: his wife Elene; his sister Mary Smith; his sister-in-law Nancy Hoffman; his aunt Joan Johnson; and his niece Deidre Smith. He is also survived by cousins, family, friends, colleagues, and caring neighbors.
