It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Jacob Mackey (Calabash, North Carolina), born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on May 18, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Mackey and Sophie Crodella Mackey; his daughter Annie Marie Mackey; and his brother Richard Mackey. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Rowsick Mackey; and his children, Kevin Mackey of Annapolis, MD and Mary Beth Duncan (Monaco). He is also survived by five grandchildren.

“. Bob. Dearest Friend of 64 years. Started in 1957 as freshmen engineers at Villanova. Your passing saddens me greatly and I do regret we did not get to come and see you as we had planned in June. However, at the same time so grateful and blesssed for the times we enjoyed wtih the Villanova couples. The golf trips, Skiing, Spring Fling, Fall Fling, Poconos Par-tees and so many other enjoyable get togethers with Bob and Roberta.. I will miss but not forget you. Rest in peace, dear friend.”
