He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Baker and Lee R. Boyd; and his daughter Suzanne. He is survived by: his wife Susan C. Boyd; and his children, Sharon (Bob), Diana (Brian), Pat (Teresa), Mike (Lynn), Tony (Debbie), Lesley (Vieri) and Jimmy. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
