Simonton (Calabash, North Carolina), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on December 15, 2019, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard R. Miller and Geraldine C. Miller of Alabama. She is survived by: her husband Samuel "Wil" Simonton; her children, Jana Smith of Ozark, AL, Megan S. Pomeroy (Robert) of Eufaula, AL, Kelly Tyler of Knoxville, TN and Kyle Simonton (Lacie) of Franklin, TN; her siblings, Sharon Poovey (Mark) of Wrightsville Beach, NC, Susan Ratcliff (Wayne) of Winston-Salem, NC, Elizabeth Eberhart of Calabash, NC, Katie Warmath (Bill) of Greensboro, NC and Bernie Miller of Winston-Salem, NC; and her granddaughters, Amelia Pomeroy and Mikyla Tyler. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
