She was predeceased by: her parents, James and Fowler; and her husband Claiborne Jones. She is survived by: her children, Danny Jones (Patricia) of Pittsboro and Laverne Jones Smith (Cal Smith) of Graham; her sister Jean Fowler of Chapel Hill; her grandchildren, Leslie Williams and Emily Norman; and her great grandchildren, Tanner Williams and Charlotte Williams.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial contributions to be made in Mary's memory to Bynum United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund P.O. Box 6 Bynum, NC 27228.
