He is survived by: his children, Holly Blackmon, Debbie Blackmon (Doug) of Del Rio, TN and William "Bud" Charles Shoemaker, Jr. (Marcie) of Buxton, NC; his grandchildren, Matthew Burrus Nuckles of Frisco, NC, Zebediah Burrus Shoemaker of Buxton, NC., Rubie Louise Shoemaker of Buxton, NC. and Grace Marie Shoemaker of Buxton, NC.; his spouse Sara E. Burrus Shoemaker; and also, Mary Burrus Williams (Dennis) and Dixie Burrus Browning (Lee).
