With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Pruitt of Butner, North Carolina, who passed away on October 8, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Chisenhall and Ella Ball Chisenhall; her son Kenneth Pruitt; her grandson David Massey; and her brothers, Harold Chisenhall and Linzy Chisenhall.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheila Massey; her grandchildren, Justin Pruitt (Donna) and Bethany Jones (Daniel); and her great grandchildren, Parker Jones, Claire Jones, William Jones, Maggie Massey and Caroline Pruitt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel (1833 Oxford Rd, Henderson, NC 27536). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
