He was predeceased by: his siblings, Margaret, Irma and Walter. He is survived by: his parents, Sam Spencer and Olivia Spencer; his wife Nona; his children, Patsy Thieken (Paul) and Doug Spencer (Claudia); and his grandchildren, Nicole Thieken, Scott Thieken, Colin Thieken, Nathan Spencer, Emma Spencer and Connor Spencer.
