In loving memory of Frank Lemons Jr. of Butner, North Carolina, who departed this world on November 13, 2024 at the age of 87. Frank leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though Frank may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Frank touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Graham Frank Lemons Sr. and Viola Bell Amos Lemons; his sisters, Colleen Lemons Oakley and Lillian Lemons Newton; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Lyon and Jim Newton.
He is survived by: his wife Dolly Shirey Lemons; and his siblings, Clarence Lemons (Dawn) and Hazel Lyon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Butner (200 W D St, Butner, NC 27509). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity or to First Baptist Church of Butner.
