We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2024, at the age of 83, Donald Ray Wilson of Busick, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wilson and Dollie Wilson; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Hollifield, Steve Brewer, Maudie Nanney and Michelle Letterman.
He is survived by: his wife Myril Wilson; his sons, Allen Wilson (Sandy) and Scott Wilson (Karen); his grandchildren, Cory Wilson, Jeri Wilson, Steven Wilson (Kayla), Dakota Wilson (Sydney), C. J. Wilson and Dustin Ray; his great grandchildren, Kamron, Kahlen, Kolton, Tianna, Noah and Anna; his sisters, Doris Huskins (Ricky), Judy Chrisawn (Claude) and Carolyn Brewer; and his brothers-in-law, Mark Greene (Cathy) and Mike Greene (Kathy). He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Yancey Funeral Service (378 Charlie Brown Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Yancey Funeral Service (378 Charlie Brown Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714).
