With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clayton Troy Autrey of Busick, North Carolina, who passed away on July 1, 2022 at the age of 35. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Jewell Effler Autrey; his niece Annabell Autrey; and his cousin Alexandra Effler. He is survived by: his father Sonny Autrey of Busick; his wife Lauren Buchanan-Autrey; his parents-in-law, Carroll and Cynthia Buchanan of Grassy Creek; his brother Clint Autrey (Rebecca) of Swannanoa; his nephews, Emerson, Wyatt and Tucker Autrey; his uncles, William Effler of Busick and Tommy Autrey (Linda) of Woodland, Washington; and also, Hyde, Renfield and Coraline.
No services will be planned at this time, but if you would like to make a donation in Clay's memory, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to either a children's hospital or an animal shelter of your choice.
