She was predeceased by: her father Doc English; her children, Ned Higgins, Raymond Higgins, Sr. and Chloe Mello; and her grandchildren, Lawrence Gardner, Crystal Banks, Jeffrey Higgins, Raymond Higgins, Jr. and Sue.
She is survived by: her mother Julie King English; her children, Rex Allen Gardner (Barbara) of Morganton, NC, Linda Gardner of Burnsville, Jean Barnes of Burnsville and Rhonda Cox of Morganton, NC; and her children-in-law, Mike Mello and Tracy Higgins. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
