With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Carl Brooks Jr. of Burnsville, North Carolina, born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on May 6, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl Brooks, Sr. and Mary Helen Brooks; his sisters, Bettye Westercamp and Carol Hyland; his parents-in-law, Ralph and Audrey Boston; his brother-in-law Don Westercamp; and his nephew Ricky Westercamp.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Boston Brooks; his daughters, Jeniene Smoot (Daren) and Carla Ervin (Raymond); his siblings-in-law, Jim Hyland, Greg Boston and Amelia Stafford (Philip); his grandchildren, Josh (Wendy), William Cody, Tyler (Katelynn), Leah (Chesley), Annalee and Addison; his great grandchildren, Lilah, Gracen and Kadence; his nieces, Kim, Renee, Shannon, Tara, Casey and Caitlin; his nephew Jeremy; and his pets, Dora and Dixie. He is also survived by family, he leaves behind many extended family members and friends.
