We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2023, at the age of 97, Walter Tipton of Burnsville, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walter Tipton to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Tipton and Mafra McCurry Tipton; and his wife Juanita Holcombe. He is survived by: his daughter Andrea Jane Tipton; his caregiver Telina Burge (Ross); his cousins, Tony Tipton (Vickie), Ted Tipton (Wanda Hope) and Terry Tipton (Maureen); and his caregiver Brandon of Hospice.

Memorial donations be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Blue Ridge at 236 Hospital Drive, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
