She was predeceased by: her parents, Talmadge Elkins and Cora Fox Elkins; her son Keith "Gummy Bear" Sparks; and her siblings, Roger Elkins and Mary Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, David Sparks (Marchelle) of Marion, Naomi McDowell (Tony) of Burnsville and Tommy Sparks (Nicole) of Connelly Springs; her grandchildren, Shelly Brown (Daniel), Dwayne Wilson (Tabitha), Jacob Sparks, Keisha Sparks, Jordan McDowell, Julie McDowell and Josh McDowell; her siblings, Ernest Elkins (Mildred) of Marion, Terry Elkins of Burnsville and Gin Hensley (Norman) of Burnsville; and her daughter-in-law Moran Sparks. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; one great, great-grandchild.
