He was predeceased by: his parents, Wellington "Mack" McIntosh and Lois Hughes McIntosh; and his siblings, Stevie McIntosh and Helen Hooper. He is survived by: his wife Rita "Susie" Buchanan McIntosh; his daughters, Dana Schronce (Gene) of Vale, Cheryl Renfro (Darren) of Burnsville and Wanda Battisti-Adams (Dave) of Burnsville; his grandchildren, Mindy Lemmons (Rudy), Tori Cryderman (Johnny), Abby Renfro (Andersen), Lili Thompson (Caleb), Madi Johnson (Dylan), Tommy Johnson (Addie) and Andi Franklin; his great grandchildren, Gavin, Grayson, Annie, Camden, Aspen, Crew and Lennox; his sister Deborah McIntosh; his niece Sheila McCurry; and his nephew Michael McIntosh (Cody McKinney).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Yancey Funeral Services (378 Charlie Brown Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714).
