She is survived by: her mother Mary Alice Mitchell McDowell; her husband Edwards; her daughters, Kasey Garland (Scott Schultz) of Burnsville and Jessica Lorch (Travis) of Lincolnton, NC; her grandchildren, Timothy Riddle, Elijah Riddle, Karleigh Lorch, Lily Harrison, Casey Weaver, Jr. and Alexander Weaver; and her siblings, Tracey Laws (C. L.) of Spruce Pine, Crystal King (Ernie) of Spruce Pine, Steve McDowell (Gail) of Burnsville, Tom McDowell of Burnsville and Tony McDowell (Naomi) of Burnsville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
