He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Adkins and Minnie Burton Adkins; his wife Nancy Peterson Adkins; and his siblings, Elaine White, Tommy and Charles Lee Adkins.
He is survived by: his sons, Rodney Adkins of Jonesboro, TN and Joey Adkins; his grandson Brandon Adkins (Kaley); his great grandchild Jase; his grandson Justin Adkins; and his great grandchild Wyatt Adkins. He is also survived by Several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
