She was predeceased by: her parents, Geoffrey Cartledge and Clara Cartledge; her parents-in-law, Donald and Dorothy Piper; and her siblings, Jack Cartledge of Tallahassee, FL, Doris Barbree, Julia Lawhon and Dot Ellis.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest Piper; her sister Lenore Stokley of Erwin, TN; her pets, Biscuit and Sadie Mae; and also, Fred, Ethel Goforth, Bob and Sonya Krause. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
