It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stanley Crain (Burnsville, North Carolina), who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Crain and Pauline Crain; his former wife Valda Crain; and his half-brother Ronald Tomberlin. He is survived by: his daughters, Tonya Renee Crain of Asheville and Tammie Dean Crain of Mine Fork; his stepchildren, Faith Burke of Altapass, Charity Franklin (Andy) of Kingsport, TN, Kennedy Atwood of Spruce Pine and Billy Biggs of Greeneville, TN; his siblings, Scarlett Bradley of Asheville, Doris Lyda (Richard) of Possum Trot, Nadine Shelton (Kenneth) of Mars Hill, Donna Kay Crain of Jacks Creek, Mary Ann Grindstaff of Green Mountain, Charles Crain of Possum Trot and Morris Crain (Denise) of Jacks Creek; and his brother-in-law Timmy Grindstaff of Green Mountain. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many other extended family.

The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital at P.O. Box 1000, Department 142 Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
