He is survived by: his parents, Eddie Buchanan and Patricia Mitchell Buchanan; his grandson Rodney; his children, Alissa Renfro (Michael) of Lancaster, SC, Courtney Ray of Micaville, Gage Daniels of Spruce Pine, Cody Buchanan of Burnsville, Christian Buchanan Burnsville (Savannah) and Jonathan Davis of Spruce Pine; his brothers, Robert Buchanan (Darlene), Travis Buchanan (Misty) and Ronnie Buchanan (Amanda) of Elizabethton, TN; his grandchildren, Kinsley Renfro, Aubrey Renfro, Nevaeh Renfro, Michael Renfro, Kinsey Ledford, Kooper Ledford, Ammelia Edwards, Izzy Buchanan, Kasper Pittman and Tucker Buchanan; and his cousin Sondra Murphy.
