He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Byrd and Dorothy Lowery Byrd; his wife Shirley Byrd; and his siblings, Susie Hedrick, Gail Peterson and Clifton McCurry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kisha Byrd Joyner (Daniel) of Cane River, Jackie Byrd of Cane River and Heather Connell (Cody) of Johnson City, TN; his grandchildren, Dennis, Bryson, Jackson, Scout and Sunni; and his siblings, Rita Prince (Herbert) of Marion, Trudy McCurry of Marion, Sally Hedrick (Melvin) of Cane River and Grady Byrd of Burnsville. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and other extended family members as well as his special friends.
