She is survived by: her granddaughters, Lisa Harrell (Patrick Thomas), Amber King, Amanda King, Miranda King (J. R.) and Jessica Blankenship; her great grandchildren, Baylee Johnson, Isabella Hudgins, Aiden King and AddyAnn King; her siblings, Shirley Simpson, Lois Lloyd (Terry), Tony Batty (Jo) and Bryan Batty (Dorothy); and her close friend Beverly Rice. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bald Creek United Methodist Church (29 Bald Creek School Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
