He was predeceased by: his daughter Tina Rachelle Burleson; his parents, Farrell Burleson and Martha Burleson; and his brothers, Roger and Michael Burleson.

He is survived by: his wife Debra Burleson; and his children, Tanya Ambrose (Greg) of Buladean, Jamie Burleson (Shelean) of Florida and Coty Burleson (Shaina) of Tipton Hill.
