He is survived by: his wife Lena Silvers Briggs; his children, Jackie Briggs (Charlene) of South Toe and Michelle McIntosh (Jordan) of Jacks Creek; his grandchildren, Dillon Briggs (Abby) of South Toe, Caitlin Oetting (Alex) of South Toe, Dustin Atkins (Andi) of Bakers Creek, Brittany Hoilman (Austin) of Jacks Creek and Issy Cook of Jacks Creek; his great grandchildren, Keaston, Maverick, Axston, Braxton, Ensleigh, Ednie and Briggston; and his siblings, Lillian Silvers, Wilma Briggs (Ray), Linda "Faye" Briggs, Larry Briggs, Larry Elkins (Tina) and Ken Mainster (Geraldine).
