We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2023, at the age of 91, Ouida McMahan (Burnsville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hughes and Desta Hughes; her husband Alvis McMahan; her grandson Mark McMahan; and her siblings, Gladys Robinson, Joanna Tipton, Freida Ray, Peggy Gouge, Richard "Bud" Hughes and Carson Hughes.

She is survived by: her children, Mike McMahan (Frances) of Burnsville, Tom McMahan (Gail Byrd) of Burnsville, Teresa McCurry (Neil) of Burnsville and Karen Deyton of Burnsville; and her grandchildren, Chris McMahan (Emily), Bryan McMahan, Jason Ray (Somer), Trent McCurry (Angela), Dustin McCurry (Whitney), Crystal Burns (Dennis), Danielle Deyton (April) and Charlie Greene. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 13 great, great-grandchildren.
