It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Octavia Austin (Burnsville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John Hylemon; her husband Charlie Austin; and her siblings, Lillie Mae, Bruce, Tommie, Robert, Hoyle, Kenneth, Frank and James.
She is survived by: her child Dale; her daughter-in-law Jill; her grandchildren, Linsay (Jim Marrelli) and Avery (Lacey); her sister Mary Lea Harding; her sisters-in-law, Dottie Hylemon, Betty Hylemon and Edith Hylemon; and also, Lisa Benge, Lisa Bennett, Linda Hamby, Chris Robinson and Maude Silvers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
