She was predeceased by: her parents, Ransom Paul and Irene Anglin Allen; her sister Mable Irene; and her siblings-in-law, Jay Black and Lynn Hughes.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny W. Hughes; her daughters, Pam Johnson (Brett) of Chimney Rock and Tami Hughes (Jerry Laws) of Burnsville; her grandchildren, Chelsea Ray, Nicholas Ray and Whitney McMahan; her great grandchild Oaklee Hudgins; her brother Preston Allen (Phyllis) of Burnsville; her siblings-in-law, Becky Black of Burnsville, Linda Punch (Emory) of Burnsville, Larry Hughes of Fairview and Edward Hughes (Wanda) of Burnsville; and her nephews, Anthony and Jeff Allen. She is also survived by Several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
