He is survived by: his children, Caydence Rice and Harmony Rice; the mother of his children Kristy Baber; his parents, Elizabeth Southerland Rice and Stephen Rice; his brothers, Mark Southerland and Stephen Rice; his grandmothers, Jane Southerland and Carole Traverse; his stepgrandmother Rev. Pat Southerland; his aunt Elaine; his uncle Jonathan Ogden; and his nieces and nephews, Lee and Brenda Peterson.
