We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Marcia Anne Bailey of Burnsville, North Carolina, born in Penland, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Kathleen Lyon; her brothers, Dick and Tommy Bailey; and her husband David Dale Swaringen of Charlotte. She is survived by: her children, Alicia Swaringen, David and Eric Swaringen; and her grandsons, James and Easton Swaringen. She is also survived by her daughter, as well as to her sons.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Yancey County Humane Society, The Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy and The Penland Post Office Project.
