He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindsay Womack Sr. and Eunice Womack; and his siblings, Russell Womack and Frances Wold. He is survived by: his wife Lillian; his sons, Michael Womack and Anthony Womack (Alison Kalinowski); his siblings, Barbara McCoy and Carroll Womack; and his granddaughter Olivia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Valor Hospice at the Asheville VA Health Care System, 1100 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC 28805.
