She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Johnson and Stella Howard Johnson; her husband R. B. Edwards; her son Richard Edwards; and her siblings, Monnie Bailey, Faye Miller and James Johnson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ray Johnson (Gladys), Fletcher Johnson, Carolyn Wilson (Larry) and Joanne McCurry (Robert). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
