We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2023, at the age of 81, Larry Joseph Getz (Burnsville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Getz and Ruth Messersmith Getz; and his brother Richard Getz. He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue McKinney Getz; his daughters, Tracy Getz of Ohio and Lisa Nicholson (Jim) of Ohio; his stepson Joseph Harris (Brenda) of Blue Rock; his grandchildren, Alyssa Getz and Jocylin Pizker (Louis); his great grandchildren, Brett and Brady; his stepgrandson Ben Harris; his siblings, Ray Getz (Linda) of Ohio and Loretta Coback (Joe) of Ohio; and his aunt Betty Smith of Ohio. He is also survived by many friends and cousins.
