Jimmy E. Gouge Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2022, at the age of 86, Jimmy E. Gouge (Burnsville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sim Gouge and Beulah Shuford Gouge; his siblings, Ruby Jo Chrisawn, Pauline Brewer, Lucille Robinson, Pat Tolley, Nass of John, T. J., Ray, Doc, Tom and Phillip Gouge; and his grandsons, Tyler and Evan Angel.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Hall Gouge; his children, Teresa Angel (Donald) of Burnsville, Marcia Simmons (Terry) of Easley, SC, Mike Gouge (Denita) of Blue Rock and Stephen Gouge (Ashley) of South Toe; his grandchildren, Niki Maness (Josh) of Burnsville, Drew Angel of Burnsville, Dillon Gouge (Sabrina) of Spruce Pine, Paige Angel (Derreck Thomas) of Burnsville, Riley of South Toe, Landon of South Toe and Lawson Gouge of South Toe; and his great grandchildren, Everly, Aida Maness and Oliver Gouge.
The family would like to say a very special thank you to Autumn, Miranda, Cheyenne, Naomi of Hospice and Palliative Care of the Blue Ridge for the special care given Jimmy and request memorial donations be made to them at 236 Hospital Drive, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
