He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas West and Mary Elizabeth Salmon West; his siblings, Alice Rice (Bobby) and Hugh Bucky West; and his nephew Robert Rice.
He is survived by: his nieces, Rhonda Harabedian (Michael), Cynthia Turner (Ben), Rachel Moore and Cassie Rice; his great-nephew Gabriel; his nephew Joshua Bolen (Kimberly); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carter and Asher; his nephew Christopher Bolen (Crystal); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mac and Ryder; and his nephews, Wyatt Rice (Valerie) and Peyton Schnee.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fairview Baptist Church (4784 7 Mile Ridge Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
