It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Wiseman (Burnsville, North Carolina), who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Wiseman and Nell Hicks Wiseman; her husband Jessie "Buck" Tom Wiseman; her son Billy Tom Wiseman; and her sisters, Jean Blackburn, Betty Pendley and Ada Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Wiseman (Yvonne) of Hickory, Tammy Ramsey (James) of Newland and Judy Ollis (Randy) of Newland; her grandchildren, Michael Wiseman (Kimberly), Michelle Mader (Yair), Brittany Marshall (Lee), Brent Ramsey (Katelyn), Angel Moore and Austin Moore; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Jamie and Baylor; her siblings, L. J. Wiseman (Debbie), Dennis Wiseman (Becky), Christine Edwards, Arlene Huskins, Judy McKinney, Patty Mayhan (Jerry), Kathy Haney, Zola Nelson (David) and Brenda Jennings; and her in-laws, Emma and Paul Boone. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A reception was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Home of Brittany Marshall (36 Rhododendron Dr, Newland, NC 28657). The inurnment was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery (53 Pine Grove Rd, Spruce Pine, NC 28777).
