He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Bennett and Hester Peterson Bennett; and his siblings, Pauline Bennett, Albert Bennett of Ruth Bennett, J. M, Malone Bennett, Mary Thomas and Patsy Barnett.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Ledford Bennett; his daughters, Rachel Lewis of Poplar and Tammy Peek (Raleigh) of Marshall; his grandchildren, Brittany Waycaster (Dylan), Austin Lewis, Destiny Nash (Daniel) and Canaan Peek (Kristen); his great grandchildren, Quinci Wise, McKinzie Wise, Lukas Waycaster, Aidan Nash, Kamdan Nash and Esther Rose Peek; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Bennett of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
