It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Fox McKinney (Burnsville, North Carolina), who passed away on September 10, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wash Fox and Esther Laughrun Fox; her siblings, T. H. Sherman Fox (Ruth), J. D. Fox, Vaughtie Roberts (Paul) and Marjorie Hilemon (Fred); and her brothers-in-law, Bobby English and Tom Ayers.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene McKinney; her siblings, Tennie English, Robbie Ayers and Clyde Fox (Brenda) of Green Mountain; her sister-in-law Jean Fox of Asheville; and her close friends, Roger, Teresa Buchanan, Jeff Scott, Grant Blankenship and Larry Fox. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
