We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2024, at the age of 79, Ernest Yelton (Burnsville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Yelton and Willie Briggs Yelton; his wife Bertha Lee Miller Yelton; his daughter Melissa Yelton; his siblings, Lucille Lecrone and Bobby Yelton; and his sister-in-law Zula Yelton.
He is survived by: his son Steven (Julie); his brother J. B. Yelton of Fork Mountain; and his close friend George Carroll Hughes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with expenses.
