He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Robinson and Cora Bell Robinson; his wife Lula Robinson; and his siblings, Connie Nevans, Mack Robinson, Clyde Robinson and Bertha Robinson.

He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Ipock (Glen) of New Bern, Cathy Crowe (Keith) of Augusta, GA and Janet Riddle (Johnny) of Burnsville; his grandchildren, Jason Brumbelow (Lindsay), Kelly Secosky (Forrest), Lindsay McGraw, Rob McGraw (Stacey), Annie Riddle and Molly Riddle; and his brother Ralph Robinson (Georgianne) of Raleigh, NC..
