She was predeceased by: her parents, Curt Honeycutt and Gertie Edwards Honeycutt; her husband Nealy Ray Silvers; and her siblings, Maggie Fender, Josephine Wilson, Sara Jane Penland, Vonta, Hereld, Edd, Jack, Lum Honeycutt, Clarie Lee and Mary Honeycut.
She is survived by: her pet Stinkey; her children, Joyce Maness (Donnie) of Burnsville, Becky Hall (Barry) of Spruce Pine and Nealy Ray Silvers, Jr. of Burnsville; her grandchildren, William McVay (Emily), Christy Murphy, Adam Mathis, Rebecca Maness, Augusta Silvers, Darcie Silvers, Story Sillvers and Lilly Rathburn; her pet Mia (Whittie); her great grandchildren, Breanna, Carlee, Jayden, Jean-Paul and Dylan; her grandchildren, Rusty and Dusty; and her brother Rufus Honeycutt (Myrtle) of Burnsville.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital at 501 St Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or to the Yancey County Animal Shelter PO Box 1016, Burnsville, NC 28714.
