It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Pershing Hensley (Burnsville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pershing Hensley and Ruth Stevens Hensley; and his brothers-in-law, Ricky D. Boone and John Faircloth. He is survived by: his wife Jearline; his son Brian Hensley (Lori); his siblings-in-law, Wanda Hughes (Edward), Loretta Faircloth and Rev. Dwight Boone Jr. (Debbie); his nieces, Shannon Anders (Bobby), Daphne Buchanan (Brandon), Natalie Smith (Matthew) and Hannah Faircloth; his nephew D. W. Boone; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tara, Tegan, Ragan, Eli, Easton and Greyson.
