He was predeceased by: his parents, Cephas Renfro and Willean Riddle Renfro; and his granddaughter Rebecca Maxon. He is survived by: his children, Derrick Renfro of Estatoe, Ashley Renfro Maxon (Richard) of Burnsville and Jessica Renfro of Spruce Pine; his grandchildren, Gunner and Logan; his stepmother Frances Renfro of Spruce Pine; his brothers, Lloyd Harris (Essie) of Morganton, Keith Renfro (Louise) of Spruce Pine, Robert Renfro (Ellen) of Crabtree and Rodney Renfro (Patsy) of Marion; and his close friends, Tony Honeycutt, David Chrisawn and Fritz Young. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
