With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darryl Griggs of Burnsville, North Carolina, who passed away on November 26, 2024 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Virginia Griggs; his wife Cathy Ponder Griggs; his children, Candi Fox (Mike), Cindy Griggs Rash (Cory), Casey Griggs (Christy) and Derek Honeycutt (Kirstin); his grandchildren, Maci, Bryson Carpenter, Tatem McKinney, Briella, Drina Honeycutt and Theo Rash; and his siblings, Gloria Wilson, Tommy Griggs (Daphne), Diane Carroll and Randy Griggs (Kristy).
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Yancey Funeral Service (378 Charlie Brown Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Yancey Funeral Services (378 Charlie Brown Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714).
