He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Virginia Griggs; his wife Cathy Ponder Griggs; his children, Candi Fox (Mike), Cindy Griggs Rash (Cory), Casey Griggs (Christy) and Derek Honeycutt (Kirstin); his grandchildren, Maci, Bryson Carpenter, Tatem McKinney, Briella, Drina Honeycutt and Theo Rash; and his siblings, Gloria Wilson, Tommy Griggs (Daphne), Diane Carroll and Randy Griggs (Kristy).
