He is survived by: his wife Ethel; his children, Tina Burleson of Spruce Pine and Tony McPeters (Teresa) of Micaville; his grandchildren, Luke Presnell of Asheville, Megan Dingman (Mike) of Weaverville, Keaton Burleson (Jessica) of Bakersville, Mikayla Garland (Paul) of Indian Creek and Brinkli Burleson of Spruce Pine; his great grandchildren, Landre Dingman of Weaverville, Shelby Presnell of Asheville, Dawson and Kallen Garland of Indian Creek; and his sisters, Helen Lee Austin (Ned), JoAnn Goforth (Haven) and Mary Will Garland.
