She is survived by: her mother Laura Davis Hughes; her grandmother Robbie Frances Davis of Spruce Pine; her daughter Kayla Cannon (Christopher) of Asheville; her siblings, Tommy Hughes, Jr. of Green Mountain, Paul Hughes (Pamela) of Spruce Pine, Roy Hoilman of Burnsville and Patricia Hughes of Spruce Pine; her sister-in-law Janet Hughes of Bakersville; and her nephew Isaiah Hughes.
