He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mackado and Herta Maria Kreutzberger Willis. He is survived by: his sisters, Barbara Waldrup of Spruce Pine and Nolie Baker of Marion; and his nieces, Hassie Buchanan, Amy Hughes (Kevin) of Buladean and Mitzie Newton of Marion. He is also survived by 4 great-nieces, 2 great-nephews, 2 great, great-nieces, and 5 great, great-nephews.
