He was predeceased by: his parents, Aster Renfro and Molly Wilcox Renfro; his former wife Brenda Belleson Renfro; and his siblings, Alma Heyer, Betty Byrd, Shirley Loyen, Paul, Sam, Clarence Renfro, Blanche and Pearl Renfro.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda "Sissy" Whitson Renfro; his daughters, Christie Stockton (Chris) of Bakersville and Peggy Evans (Bill) of Pigeon Roost; his grandchildren, Bobby Evans of Green Mountain, Krista Stockton of Bakersville and Brandy Boone (Jamie) of Pigeon Roost; and his great grandchildren, Addyson, Peyton Evans, Charlie Lynn and Willa Jean Boone.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Yancey Funeral Services (378 Charlie Brown Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Spruce Pine Memorial Cemetery (11050 S 226 Hwy, Spruce Pine, NC 28777).
